Hello, my name is Astrid Alvarado, and I am the founder and CEO of SBA PRINT. I want to thank you for being here and for taking the time to read a little about our story.
I am from Venezuela, and in 2016, I arrived in the U.S. with my husband and two suitcases in search of a better life. Today, I am grateful because this country has opened its doors to me as if I had been born here.

With a lot of work, effort, and dedication, I have achieved things I never thought I could. I arrived in the country without knowing I was pregnant, and in 2017, after 8 months, I had my first child. That same year, a venture was born, my stationery and personalization business, which over the years transformed based on my customers' needs. There was always something that prevented me from growing with my business, and the main reason was my need to have a stable job. I never lost focus and also dedicated myself to learning the language, and I had several jobs that made me very happy, but what fulfilled me the most was my venture.
In mid-2020, I became pregnant with my second child. When I was 8 months pregnant, after taking my older son to several consultations and conducting some tests, he was diagnosed with Autism, something that changed my way of being and seeing life forever (in a positive way) but also a very hard blow, which I had to assimilate quickly because I needed to help him.

Between the diagnosis of my 3-year-old son, for which no parent is prepared, and the arrival of a new child in our lives, I felt very overwhelmed. I decided to resign from my job to look for a part-time job, abandoned my business, and went through 2 years of very hard times, full of medical appointments, stress, and many therapies. I believe those setbacks, precisely those moments of difficulty, were the necessary push to make the decision and take the risk of leaving everything so that my dream could take the shape of a company, and thanks to the unconditional support of my husband, SBA PRINT was born, a small family business that today fills us with pride and for which we bet more every day.

Every decision and step we have taken has always been aimed at improving. Since we started the business, we have spent 8 months dedicated to working on all kinds of tests; because to achieve growth for our company, we need to offer the best, we need excellence. We focus on using the best materials so that our products are of the highest quality in the market, but we also want you to feel comfortable and secure with each order you place. You are our priority, your happiness and satisfaction are the most important things for us.
